Ending on a Positive Note
In reference to what this blog is about click here
2- Two things that I would like to learn before the end of the year is how to become more of an independent person, as well as learn how to become an initiative person, to take action first.
Definition of goal
2- Two things that I would like to learn before the end of the year is how to become more of an independent person, as well as learn how to become an initiative person, to take action first.
0- Something I would like to remove from my daily behavior is being shy, I want to be the person that communicates, and isn't afraid to speak out.
1- One thing I could do to make my life easier is do things beforehand in order to have time to do everything I need to do, be able to manage my time wisely.
8- - show respect, use manners, help someone with homework, be an includer, when I see someone left out I tell them to come join me, I can be kind by contributing to an event that helps someone else, for example, a carnival who is helping a school raise money, not talk back to teachers is an act of kindness, do what I am told to do so, and in general just be helpful to anyone.

My Precept
In reference to Mrs.Kallas Blog
This is my precept that I came up with in order for the people to be more confident in expressing themselves and not have to be worried about what others think about them because everyone should have the confidence to be themselves.

Taking Initiative
In reference to what I am responding to go to Mrs.Kallas's Blog
1.
Initiative to me means that you do something that is helpful without being told to do so. You are able to do something on your own, not depending on nobody, you know what has to be done and you got that right away.
2.
1. Go straight to work with the students
2. Ask my mentor what help she needs
3.Go straight to working with a group or individuals
4.Ask any student if they need help
5. Catch up on what the kids are learning
6. Read the agenda
7.Do more than what is required
8.Help grade papers
9.Create a poster board
10.Go make copies for my mentor teacher
3.Synonyms
-ambition
-motivation
-spirit
-ingenuity
-dynamism
4.
This week what I did in my field site to show initiative was to go straight and work with a group of students to help them with their homework. Be able to explain to them in a more simpler way of how to do the work to show the answer. I also walked around the classroom to make sure that every student is doing what they are to do. I asked my teacher if she needed me to do anything, or she would just ask me if I was able to do something for her and I said yes. I got to grade some essays and she really appreciated it since some wrote in Spanish and she liked the way I corrected their spelling. She said that I am teaching her something since she didn't learn Spanish until she was 13. And by grading papers, it helped her have less paper to grade, and she doesn't have to worry about grading papers all at once. By helping the students in groups helped to understand the concept and have a different view of how to solve a problem, I also gave them problems so they could continue practicing to be sure that they understood how to solve it.
5.
Being a teacher requires having the initiative to be creative to be able to start a new concept and find a creative way to be able to teach in a way that the students will be able to understand as well as be able to like what they are learning. The students are going to need help so the teachers have to be able to take the initiative to ask who needs help. Being initiative means to have the responsibility to do something quickly, the teachers should have the responsibility to grade papers on time and have the grades put in on time.

What Would You Do?
In reference to what I am talking about go to Mrs.Kallas's Blog
Scenario 3
- What was wrong is that the intern decided that just because there is a substitute it was okay for that person to go to her other friend classroom to do homework, and not do anything.
-What should have been done is she should have continued the routine that is done every day as if the teacher was there. The teacher most likely didn't tell her she was going to be absent since she has trust that the intern would have done what is suppose to be done. And even if the substitute had told her that she didn't need her where she should have still stayed. She left and went to interrupt where the other intern was at and made that intern also not do anything. The other intern should have also told her "hey go do what you are supposed to" and the intern shouldn't have gone with her to the homework. They are there as interns to help out the other kids, not to go do homework.

My Learning DNA
In reference to what it is going to be answered in this blog go to Mrs.Kallas's Blog

I am a auditory and a tactile learner, I need to hear things, and be able to do it on my own to understand it more.
My 5 themes are adaptability meaning I am a flexible person that can stay productive. I am a developer, meaning that I see the potential in others, when I interact with others I like to help them succeed. My third theme is empathy I am able to know what others feel, I make their feelings be my feelings. I am responsible I follow through the task I am given and finish it, I get things done on time and finish all my responsibilities, I am a includer I like to include people to the group and make them part of it so they can interact.
Characteristics
Some characteristics that define me are motivational, honest, empathetic, caring, helpful, trustworthy, open-minded. Each characteristic that I posses can make me as a teacher be able to have a positive relationship with the students and parents. With the characteristic of motivational I am able to motivate the students to do well in anything not only in school work, but outside of school. Being honest can gain trust from students, parents, and the other teachers, they will know that they can trust in me and that I will always be honest to them and not lie to them.
Multiple Intelligences
My multiple intelligences are Musical, Naturalistic , and Interpersonal. These characteristics are able to help me in classroom by being able to interact with the students and staff. Musical I am able to do rhythm, have some type of music activity. Naturalistic I am able to view nature, art or literature.
Learning Preferences
My learning preferences will be listening to music, I need to have some noise to be able to do my.work. And if I'm hungry I should be able to eat because then I would be thinking about food, and when lunch time is. The classroom can't be too cold or too hot, or I won't be able to concentrate on my work.

Learning Styles
I am a auditory and a tactile learner, I need to hear things, and be able to do it on my own to understand it more.
Cone of Learning
In the cone of learning in order for you to remember something you need to do it, and get involved, or hands on. And I am a tactile person which need to do or have hands on activities. How I am going to apply this to my future classroom is that I am going to make more participating activities, in which the students are able to express themselves, and be able to communicate to one another, to be able to remember what we are learning.Gallup Themes
